Gasoline Additive:

An ideal blending component for unleaded gasoline with a Research Octane Number (RON) as high as 117, it significantly enhances gasoline's anti-knock properties.

While blending it into gasoline reduces carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon emissions, it faces a trend of being replaced due to the widespread adoption of ethanol-blended gasoline.

Chemical Raw Material:

Produced via cracking to yield high-purity isobutylene, which is used to manufacture butyl rubber, polyisobutylene, methyl methacrylate (MMA), and other products.

High-purity MTBE (HP-MTBE) can serve as an extraction agent or reaction solvent in the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and cosmetic industries.
