Tetraethylammonium Hydroxide (TEAOH for short), with CAS No. 77-98-5 and chemical formula C₈H₂₁NO, is mostly sold as a 20% aqueous solution, appearing as colorless to pale yellow liquid. It is easily soluble in water and ethanol, with strong alkalinity, stable chemical properties but easy to absorb carbon dioxide in the air[3].
